Have your say on EU missions
The European Missions aim to deliver solutions to some of our greatest societal challenges, such as cancer, adaptation to climate change, healthy oceans, climate-neutral cities and healthy soil and food. The design of these missions is done by the European Commission, with input from all relevant stakeholders. As part of this process, an interactive pilot platform has been launched for anyone to put forward his or her own ideas and vote for the ones best liked. The opportunity to submit proposals will be open until the 6th of September, and voting will remain open until the 14th of September.
At the online ‘European Research & Innovation Days’, held from the 22nd to the 24th of September, the results of all consolations, together with the recommendations from the Mission Board, will be handed over to the Commission. The selected missions will be announced at the end of 2020 and launched in 2021.
