Online seminar series: European Biotechnology and Society
In an online series of five seminars, the ERA-Net on Biotechnology (ERA CoBioTech) will explore the social, environmental, political and ethical dimensions of biotechnology in Europe. Each seminar will feature a dialogue between two speakers from within and beyond ERA CoBioTech offering their perspectives and experiences. The sessions will address topics covering the environmental, social and economic sustainability of biotechnologies. Attention will be given to interdisciplinarity methodologies for collaboration across the social and natural sciences.and to; the relationships between science and citizens.
Starting from September 30th, the seminars will run weekly. More information is available on a dedicated website.
The seminar series forms part of ERA CoBioTech's work on Responsible Research and Innovation, and biotechnology capacity building.
