Pandemic! A one health view of emerging infectious diseases
On June 30th, a global, interactive webinar focused on the role of veterinary sciences to prevent and cope with future animal and zoonotic pandemics wass organised by European Animal Health and Welfare Research Collaborative Working Group of SCAR and the International Research Consortium on Animal Health - STAR-IDAZ. The webinar was focused on the role of veterinary sciences to cope with, and prevent, future animal and zoonotic pandemics, with emphasis on the lessons learnt from Covid-19. The meeting started with introductions, after which a roundtable followed, in which the participants were encouraged to exchange on innovative ideas, actions and new tools.
